Event Details

This talk looks at the conception, design and delivery of a major highway project currently under construction.

From getting the go-ahead, to the business case, to the why and when, level of detail, monitoring and evaluation. The presentations will cover the detailed design – the background, the solution, the approach, the design and the changes. Finally, the last leg – delivery and construction – a look at how this was achieved with so little disruption to the network.

We are grateful to our speakers from Jacobs.

  • Keith Barber - Technical Director Transport Consultancy, Jacobs (Traffic Team Lead), who will look at the business case.
  • Tim Worrall – Senior Consultant Highways, Jacobs (Design Manager), who will cover the detailed design.
  • Tony Yeoman – Director of Operations, Jacobs (Designer's Site Representative), will look at construction.

All welcome. Refreshments from 18.00.
