Have you given any thought to postgraduate study? Come and find out more about the fully funded positions available with the Materials and Manufacturing Academy (M2A). All positions come with a generous tax-free bursary (subject to meeting eligibility requirements);

* EngD – £20,000 a year

* MSc - £12,500

The Materials and Manufacturing Academy is a Swansea University initiative, funded by the European Social Fund via the Welsh Government, EPSRC & Industry, to provide industry led postgraduate research training in the areas of Functional Coatings Functional Coatings, Advanced Materials and Manufacturing.

We have 20 EngD and 8 MSc by Research opportunities commencing in October 2019. The projects are all set by industry and offer the opportunity to work in a broad range of subject areas.

The Information Event will include a talk from members of the M2A team about the scheme and the applications process. It will also include talks from current M2A researchers and alumni on their experiences of the scheme.

Talks will be followed by refreshments and an opportunity to talk to academics, industrial sponsors and current researchers.

Examples of projects we have funded can be found on our website www.M2A.wales.

Projects and an Application Form for entry in October 2019 will be available on the website from 31st January. The deadline for applications is midnight on the 28th February 2019.
