You are warmly invited to our regular women's circle held at Frimhurst Family House in Frimley.
What is it all about?
Women have gathered in circles, outside of patriachal hierachies, to support one another, share wisdom and knolwedge, honour natures cycles, and create a vision for their communities for centuries. Our circle, established in 2021, meets at each of the 8 festivals of the wheel of the year and our aim is to create a safe and powerful space to deepen our connection to ourselves, each other and the wisdom of nature's mysteries and cycles. Nurturing ourselves and our deepest potential. Celebrating sisterhood and life. Cultivating rest and retreat.
What will we do?
· We begin with a welcoming sharing circle with a talking piece as a chance to unmask and share as much or as little as you like, free of any interruption.
· Three candles to honour women past, present and future are lit. Confidentiality is established: as well as not being interrupted when holding the talking piece, advice is also not given and what is shared is not brought up again unless invited by the speaker.
· Once the energy of this sacred space is established, and there’s an understanding of what is needed, the gathering proceeds.
· Song, craft, movement, rest, meditation, massage, tea are just some of the things that may unfold: it is not a prescribed event but rather an opportunity to be together as women and support each other with our vulnerability, intuition and power.
Are there any rules?
Not really... respect for one another, ourselves, the venue and our cirle.
We do ask that if you can’t attend the gathering, please cancel your space or contact Anna on 07859749099 so that we can offer your place to another woman.
We also ask that you arrive on between 5:45 and 6pm and stay for the 2.5 hour duration.
