Join us for a spectacular evening of fireworks, light & fun at Macclesfield Cricket Club!

Come along to the Macclesfield Cricket Club Firework & Light Festival! Take advantage of a 20% discount by purchasing your tickets before midnight on Tuesday 30 September 2025. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS YEAR, TICKETS WILL ONLY BE AVAILABLE ONLINE THROUGH EVENTBRITE PRIOR TO THE EVENT. Tickets will be available to purchase on the gate. All proceeds from the event go to keeping Macclesfield Cricket Club at the heart of the local sporting community.

Two displays for the price of one!

We will be holding two firework displays - a junior firework display with less bangs but just as spectacular as the main event ideal for younger children due to be fired at 7.15pm and the main firework spectacular will commence at 8.15pm.

Access and Parking

Please access the ground on foot via the Victoria Road entrance and please walk to the event wherever possible. If you do need to come by car, please note that there is no parking at the ground and please park sensibly so as not to obstruct neighbour's driveways and to ensure access for ambulances to the Accident and Emergency Department at the hospital. If you need disabled parking , please email howzat@macclesfieldcricket.org by Monday 3 November latest so that we can arrange this for you with the hospital.

Tickets

Please bring your tickets with you on the night - you will be asked to present them on arrival. These can either be stored electronically or printed out. Please note, there will be a limited number of tickets available on the door on the night. A 20% discount will be applied to all ticket purchases before 30 September.

Outdoor Event

The event takes place outside, so please make sure you are dressed appropriately. We advise bringing raincoats and umbrellas just in case the weather lets us down!

Cash or Contactless?

Where possible we will offer contactless payment, however, it would be advisable to also bring cash as not all outlets will be offering this facility.

Food and Drink

Only food and drink purchased on site will be allowed.

Sparklers/Fireworks

In the interest of health and safety, please do not bring your own sparklers or fireworks to the event, we have a designated sparkler area where you can purchase sparklers on site. Anyone found using sparklers outside of the designated area will be kindly asked to leave.
