Description

Join the Charles Rennie Mackintosh Society for this introductory walk around Glasgow city centre. Delve in to an era of Mackintosh design, exploring his contemporaries and the architecture that shaped post-Victorian Glasgow.

This 90 minute walk begins at the Society's information point at Mackintosh at the Willow and will finish at The Lighthouse, covering roughly 1.5km in the city centre. Booking is essential to avoid disappointment as group sizes are capped at 10 persons. Children are welcome but please be advised that the route is structured around busy city centre streets.

*PLEASE NOTE* Tours booked for Easter Weekend, Friday 19th April and Monday 22nd April, are subject to Guide Availability and may be rescheduled. You will be contacted directly if a walk is unable to proceed as advertised.

This tour is currently only available in English.

Proceeds (minus eventbrite booking fee) go directly to supporting the work of the Charles Rennie Mackintosh Society which is an independent, non-profit making charity, established in 1973 to promote and encourage awareness of the Scottish architect and designer. The CRM Society has Charitable Status Reference No. SC012497. Registered in Scotland Company No. SC293107.
