Come and join our new macrame workshops with Samanta, learn basic knots and create a Macrame Basket

Come and join our new monthly macrame workshops with Samanta where you will learn learn basic knots and create decorative macrame pieces.

In this workshop you will learn how to make a beautiful Basket Hanger.

Each month, we’ll explore a new macrame project, allowing you to build your skills and confidence while creating unique handmade decor.

Also coming up is Macrame Heart Wall Hanging on 14th February and Macrame Plant Hanger on 14th March which you can book separately.

Come for the creativity, stay for the community, and leave with something beautiful for your home!

This workshops is suitable for beginners and all levels. No prior experience needed and all materials provided.

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.

Stitch-Up CIC is a social enterprise and any profits we make are reinvested straight back into delivering our creative community projects supporting vulnerable and disadvantaged people in Leeds to learn new skills and improve wellbeing.

We will also be using this time to gain feedback from participants about what creative activities they would like to see going forward at Meanwood Community Centre so all feedback is greatly appreciated.

There is ample parking available at the Community Centre Car Park. If you cannot fit in the Car Park, please park on the main part of Stainbeck Avenue, with consideration to the residents please do not park in the cul-de-sac.

The Stitch-Up Studio is to the rear of the Community Centre. Once you arrive in reception please follow the signs for Stitch-Up.
