Join us for the Macrame Boob workshop and breast health awareness event!
Come to the Gather space at The Dolphin Poole on October 3, 2025 at 10:00 AM to learn how to create a beautiful macrame wallhanging while raising awareness about breast health. Let's have a fun and informative day together!
Your macrame workshop will be hosted by Jackie, from Bonnie Lass Create, an experienced macrame artist and teacher. You'll be encouraged to learn at your own pace and get creative straight away learning how to tie decorative knots to make your very own macrame wallhanging. The workshop is suitable for complete beginners and all equipment is included.
The Dorset Breast Screening Unit will be on hand during the event to provide advice and information. Dorset Breast Screening Unit aim to provide an efficient and effective beast screening service to all eligible women, within a caring environment. Come and meet us at this exciting event to see what breast changes to be aware of and how you can book a routine mammogram.
Booking for the macrame workshop is essential and numbers are limited to ensure you receive the right level of tuition. You can expect to have fun, learn a new craft, become breast health aware and leave with a new skill and of curse a beautiful macrame boob wallhanging!!!
IMPORTANT: please note, all profit (after deduction of costs)from this event will be donated to University Hospitals Dorset NHS charities. Jackie is providing her time for free, the ticket price for this event covers cost of materials and insurance required. The event is free to attend for advice and information only from Dorset Breast Screening Unit.
