Macraweave Workshop with Lorna from Maud and Green
Overview
Join Lorna Green for a creative and calming Macraweave Workshop, where you’ll learn the art of blending macramé and weaving to create your own unique wall hanging. Over the course of three and half relaxing hours, you’ll be guided through essential knotting and weaving techniques, perfect for beginners or anyone looking to deepen their fibre art skills.
Using natural cotton and jute ropes, soft fibres, and hand-picked driftwood, you’ll craft a small decorative, contemporary piece that brings texture, warmth, and a touch of nature into your home. The workshop is designed to be both creative and meditative, offering you a chance to slow down, connect with your hands, and enjoy the mindful rhythm of working with fibre.
What’s included:
• Step-by-step introduction to macraweaving techniques
• A wide variety of materials to explore
• A finished wall hanging to take home
By the end, you’ll leave with a beautiful handmade wall hanging and the confidence to continue exploring macraweave on your own.
