Is this workshop for me?

Explore the fascinating world of macro photography, where you’ll be amazed at the small minature worlds of the photographs you capture. Jamie will help you create images which are quite literally larger than life. Develop your technical knowledge as well as creativity to capture pin sharp, close-up macro images to a professional standard.

This workshop is a hands on practical session so you can develop a deep understanding of macro photography.I will keep the group size small so you’ll get plenty of one to one attention and feedback so you can improve at a quick pace.

What kit will I need

The Macro Photography workshop requires participants to bring a professional compact camera or digital SLR camera and a tripod. If you don’t own a camera of your own – just let us know what equipment you’ll need before your course so we can arrange this.
In terms of prior knowledge, ideally you will just need a basic understanding of camera lenses, shutter speed, aperture and ISO. Not sure you have the basics mastered? just give Jamie a e-mail and we can get you up to speed before the workshop.

*If you have your own macro kit or lenses and not sure what to bring? just e-mail Jamie and he will advise you*
