'Tragic love of the mad girl. Old-fashioned romance at railway station . . . A beautiful mad girl may be seen every day, rain or shine, sitting on a bench in the waiting-room of a certain station with an opened fan in her arms. She peers into the face of every man who alights at the station, only to return each time disappointed to her bench.

Matt Fuzia as Yoshio
Matt Fuzia works as a professional actor and he's been an active member of James Rose workshops "Be The Actor within" for over 2 years. He has also graduated from the Stanislavski course at CityLit in London, Alex Rose courses in Unseen Drama Academy and short Meisner courses with Actors Door Studio.
Having started his acting career only in September 2021, he had already worked with London film productions such as Beastie Films, 21 Films Ltd, FlexSingh productions Ltd and others, casted for lead and supporting roles. Matt is also currently acting in popular immersive theatrical show Escape from Golden Hinde and having his stage debut in Mad Girl with Theatre Collection.
Penny Bosworth as Jitsuko
Penny is originally from Birmingham. After graduating in 2019 from the Actors Temple she began working on London Fringe circuit. Penny has performed in a gallery of different roles, in plays by Chekov, Hitchcock, Ionesco, Sartre, Frisch.
Snice 2020 she has been working with Victor Sobchak. Now they embark on a new venture together working with the Muse Gallery bringing theatre into the hub of Portobello for a spring/ summer season where each play connects to the artists work exhibited.
Xiaonan as Hanako
Xiaonan is a London-based bilingual actor from China, completed her MFA at East15.
Before studying in the UK, she started her acting experience at UCLA, and trained Shakespeare at RADA.
During these 7 years, she participated in many workshops with teachers and companies from all over the world, including Yale, NYU Tisch, LAMDA, EDPG, Taiwan Godot Theatre, and HKAPA.
She is fascinated with physical and contemporary visual theatre. Puppetry and Clowning are what she is exploring at present. With a continuous passion for dance and movement, she has experience in many movement genres such as Chinese dance, contemporary, Latin, Ballet, Urban dance and contact improvisation.
Victor Sobchak- Director
Victor Sobchak was born in the USSR and had 2 degrees as a theatre director and mime director and actor.
He was touring extensively throughout the USSR, Europe, USA, and Africa.
Victor has directed about 400 plays, his theatre companies took part in over 40 International Festivals including 12 Edinburgh Fringe Festivals.
In 2011 Victor got Fringe Award for 'Outsinging Achievement'

RB8- Writer
RB8 was set up in 2015 by friends Kisha De Costa and Penny Bosworth. They are a writing duo who tell human stories for both adults and children around themes dealing with global issues. It is RB8'S mission to implement the importance of giving back, and what better way than storytelling. Human stories - United We Stand, is RB8's theatrical debut. It was written in support of the Ukraine, to acknowledge the struggle and trauma civilians now face every day while the war continues. They thank you for your support!
