Part of Crystal Palace Park Trust's free Summer of Play, witness amazing demonstrations and take part in awesome hands on experiments!
We're running two sessions as part of this activity, at 12:00 and 14:00. Each session has a workshop (for the first 45 minutes) and show element (for a further 30 minutes), so make sure to hang around for both!
Workshops: Fundamental Forces (approx 45 mins)
Kids learn about forces by experimenting with gravity push, pull and inertia. Check out a gyroscope and do balancing tricks learning about how forces affect motion!
Shows: Actions and Reactions (30 mins)
Witness amazing chemical reactions and learn how to identify them. Colour changes, bubbles and fire! Explosion guaranteed!
Both sessions are suitable for families and Kids age 5+*
*Under 14’s must be accompanied / observed throughout the session by a responsible adult.
We aim to be as inclusive as possible and ask that you let us know if you have any particular requirements at point of booking.
Check in opens 20 mins prior to each session at the Concert Platform. On arrival you will be able to check in with a member of staff before taking a seat for the session.
This is a FREE ADMISSION event. Tickets are limited to four(4) per person. Please ensure that tickets are cancelled if you are unable to attend so that another young person can use the opportunity.
