Made by Digital: What is MELD® additive manufacturing technology?
Event Information
About this event
What is MELD® metal AM technology? We get asked this question a lot, so we have produced an online event to tell you everything you need to know about this innovative technology.
In this session, we will discuss the research that the National Manufacturing Institute Scotland has done with the technology and how you might use it in your business. We will be joined by our guest presenter, Chase Cox, Director of Technology at MELD Manufacturing, the company that developed and pioneered the technology.
Made by Digital - an NMIS online event series
The future of Manufacturing is undoubtedly digital, but what does that mean and how can you be part of it?
Additive Manufacturing (AM) is at the forefront of digitally-enabled manufacturing. AM covers such a wide range of technologies and associated themes/topics – it can be difficult to know where to start, and how to assess the suitability of emerging technologies for your business.
To ensure Scotland’s manufacturing sector is at the forefront of digitally-enabled manufacturing, our teams from the NMIS Digital Factory and the Manufacturing Skills Academy have designed a two-part series of Rapid Knowledge Transfer Seminars (RKTS) aimed at developing your knowledge and understanding of the latest innovations in digital manufacturing technologies and software.
This event series will run from Tuesday 9 November 2021 – Wednesday 20 April 2022.
Please note that this webinar is being recorded and may be made publicly available.
