About this event

Community • Heritage

Join us at Kensington Central Library for Made by Us, a vibrant community market celebrating Black creativity, culture and connection as part of Black History Month 2025.

Featuring local Black-owned businesses and creatives, including:

Hope & Lily African Crafts

Made from locally sourced material such as sisal for baskets, cotton fabric for animals, dolls, bags, wood, stone, beads, wire and cow horn, showcasing the unseen and eclectic beauty of various cultures of Africa through skilfully hand-made crafts, art and home décor.

If you choose Hope & Lily, you contribute to helping employment in Uganda and encourage continued creativity.

RealeasUK

Cosplay items, cute knitwear and accessories - you will have plenty to choose from if you visit Realeas stall - from knits, loom bead bracelets and jewellery, all unique and hand made in Notting Hill.

ISLANDÈGRL

ISLANDÈGRL is a Caribbean-inspired beauty brand born from the vibrant spirit of island women everywhere - bold, beautiful, and unapologetically herself.

Our new signature lip gloss collection blends high-shine glam with tropical inspiration and nourishing, melanin-loving formulas. From juicy pinks to rich chocolate browns, every shade is designed to reflect the warmth, strength, and glow of our culture.

Rooted in tradition, elevated with modern flair - ISLANDÈGRL is beauty with flavour, attitude, and soul.
