Come join me for a delicious, New Year, New You cookery class.
In this evening cooking class you will learn how to cook yourself beautiful in the new year! This cookery class is perfect for anyone who is getting into a healthier way of eating, or even if you already love cramming your plate with nutritious food! I'm going to show you how easy it is to create yummy, wholesome food that is also totally delicious! The class will be followed by a scrumptious sit down dinner where we can share the treats we have created and talk all things wellness.
The cooking class will be held at the very stylish Central Street Cookery School, a gorgeous cookery school hidden in East London. The class will be super interactive as I want you to learn as much as you can. We will aim to do 3-4 recipes, which of course we will tuck into after all the hard work is over.
First up, we'll be making a warming cardamom and cinnamon milk using these superfood spices. This drink is naturally sweet, and Cinnamon can help to regulate your blood sugar levels - perfect if you're trying to ditch refined sugar!
We're also going to be whipping up baked sweet potatos with black bean chilli. Chilli is a total favourite of mine, and it's so warming in the colder months, and this vegetarian version is so brilliantly tasty that even meat-eaters will love it!
Our side dish is going to be harrissa and red lentil hummus. I'm all about snacking and I want to show you how easy it is to make your own hummus at home. Being prepared when you're on a journey to nourish your body is one of the most important things to keep you on track - and making your own dips and snacks will help you do this!
Cramming in all the good foods doesn't mean you have to miss out on chocolately treats! My sweet potato and tahini bars are to die for. I'm going to teach you how to make these to snack on when you're craving something sweet. They're refined sugar-free, gluten-free and dairy-free.
Remember to bring your tupperware as there will be leftovers to take home and share with your friends and family.
Please note - if you have any allergies please let me know in advance of the class. All recipes will be vegetarian.
All tickets are sadly non refundable, these events take time and are expensive to run, so please double check your diary before booking.
See you there!
