Description

Using contemporary records, this informal workshop will explore the experience of patients at Norfolk County Asylum, Thorpe St. Andrew, during the 19th century, within the context of contemporary and historic theories of madness and its treatment. The session is free, but booking is essential as places are limited. The session will incorporate the use of laptop computers (assistance will be provided).
