About this event

Other

We’re excited to welcome our neighbours, LUCA to the shop alongside Italy Segreta for the latest MagCulture Meets evening. The two brands share a passion for evocative storytelling that is rooted in Italian culture—a genuine bond that has brought them together to join us and celebrate the launch of Italy Segreta’s annual print edition ‘A Tavola’.

Italy Segreta founder Marina Cacciapuoti and her brother, co-founder Cesare Cacciapuoti, will share the story of their magazine—from its beginnings as a digital platform to its enduring belief in the power of print. Presenting their third edition, dedicated to the Italian table—the heart of daily life—they’ll explore how cuisine shapes Italian identity, inviting readers to savor not just the dishes, but the stories behind them: how restaurants came to be, the origins of ingredients we think of as quintessentially Italian, and recipes ranging from bistecca alla fiorentina to little-known treasures like morzello Calabrese. Together, they’ll celebrate the traditions, culture, and flavors that make Italian cuisine a way of life.

LUCA is a Michelin-Starred, Modern Italian led by Executive Chef, Robert Chambers. Drawing on his British and Italian heritage, Robert creates dishes that take inspiration from Italy whilst championing the best of British produce. Situated just down the road on St John Street, the restaurant is a firm favourite of ours and we’re really pleased to have owners Johnny Smith and Daniel Willis join us for this celebratory event.
