MAGELLAN is a project co-funded by the European Commission within the 7th Framework Programme, that aims to enhance peoples’ creativity by establishing a platform for authoring, web-publishing, and experiencing location-based games (http://www.magellanproject.eu/). One of the primary purposes of creating such a game authoring web-based environment is for supporting collaboration, problem-solving, publication, search and delivery of a number of location-based experiences potentially involving multiple participants or players trying to collaborate with each other or against for achieving a targeted goal. The platform aims to offer the necessary tools and services to the wider user-group community that wish to author and publish location-based experiences as well as to players who are keen to play such immersive non-linear games.
[*]Due to space limitations, participation to the event will be based on a strict order of priority in registrations
