Event description
Maggie’s Fife is excited to bring you an amazing opportunity to push your boundaries and limits to take part in a Firewalk

About this event

Maggie’s Fife is excited to bring you an amazing opportunity to push your boundaries by taking part in a Firewalk led by the incredible team at Phoenix Firewalk. The event will take place on Thursday 7th October - 6.30pm at Balbirnie House Hotel, Markinch.

Taking on a Firewalk could be for different reasons - for the challenge, thrill, or to discover your full potential and learn more about yourself. Whatever your reason, we are pleased you are doing it for Maggie’s and helping us support people with cancer and their families, right here in Fife.

Sign up and take part in this exciting event for Maggie’s with friends, family or work colleagues.

Registration is £20 and we ask that you raise a minimum sponsorship of £100 for Maggie’s Fife.

Spectators are welcome to come along and watch the walk but cannot attend the seminar.

Only over 18s can take part in the walk but anyone can come along to spectate.

Contact the Fife Fundraising Team for more information at maggiesfifefundraising@maggiescentres.org or call 07825056386.

Organiser Maggie's

Organiser of Maggie’s Fife Firewalk

Maggie’s provides free practical, emotional and social support to people with cancer and their family and friends, following the ideas about cancer care originally laid out by Maggie Keswick Jencks.

Built in the grounds of NHS cancer hospitals, Maggie's centres are places with professional staff on hand to offer the support people need.

Our centres are places to find practical advice about benefits and eating well; places where qualified experts provide emotional support; places to meet other people; places where you can simply sit quietly with a cup of tea.

The first Maggie’s opened in Edinburgh in 1996 and since then Maggie’s has continued to grow, with 26 centres at major NHS cancer hospitals in the UK and abroad.
