Terry Pratchett’s novels created a new world where fantasy, science-fiction, humour and satire coexisted, firing the imagination of millions of readers all over the world.

Join this live conversation event online with Neil Gaiman, Rob Wilkins & Rhianna Pratchett as they explore the fantastical Discworld universe of characters and plots where magical and mechanical technology go hand in hand.

Neil Gaiman is an international bestselling writer and co-author with Pratchett of Good Omens. Rob Wilkins is the producer of Good Omens and Pratchett’s long-term friend, assistant and manager of his estate. Rhianna Pratchett is the daughter of Terry Pratchett and is a BAFTA nominated Scriptwriter & Story Designer and previous winner of the Writers’ Guild of Great Britain ’Best Videogame Script’ award.

The event is hosted by Senate House Library, University of London, and the Institute of English Studies (School of Advanced Study) and is part of the Being Human festival, the UK’s only national festival of the humanities, taking place 12–22 November. Led by the School of Advanced Study, University of London, in partnership with the Arts & Humanities Research Council and the British Academy.
