At Silent Book Club, there's no assigned reading. All readers are welcome—ebooks, audiobooks, textbooks, comic books... it's BYOBook. This is a free event, where friends or strangers gather at a set time and location, order food or drinks, share what they're reading, and settle in for an hour of silent, sustained reading to yourselves. At the end of the hour, attendees can socialize—or not!
There is absolutely no pressure to talk to anyone or socialise in any way. Just bring yourself and your book, and take time out from scrolling on your phone and unwind in the company of like-minded individuals It's the perfect way to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life.
