Wheels on a cycle? Without them purring we're not going on any adventures! They can be tricky and turbulent at times with spokes skewing, tyres wearing and withering away - not to mention inner tubes sporadically letting us down.. So if there are elements about the wondrous motion movers of your steed you're unsure about, then this is the session for you.
This is a practical workshop that will eventually cover the depths of mastering punctures on your bike and comes in two parts, we strongly recommend that participants attend both workshops to get the most out of them. Part II is on 1st October
We have complimentary brews to hydrate your learning and not to mention our absolute pro, Mary, working you through some of the following intricacies of your bicycle's rotating parts.
Masterclass includes:
- Learn about all the different types of wheel fastenings
- Understand which system your bike uses
- Learn how to remove your wheels simply and painlessly.
- And put them back on again!
- Find out ways to reduce the chances of your wheels being stolen
- Learn the mystery of the back wheel.
- Hub gears or derailleur gears - all will be revealed.
This is the perfect course to take before "The Hole Truth" on 1st October and will build your knowledge and confidence around cycle repair.
