Come to the Shed and make this smart and practical Bird Feeder. Our experienced shedder will guide you through the techniques to build this for your garden. No previous woodwork knowledge is required. We will supply the materials and you can take home the feeder at the end of the session. You will need some upper body strength to use the wood working tools and must be able to stand at the workbench. Let us know if you think this will be a problem , we can usually find another solution.
The workshop is a dusty and slightly messy environment , even after we have cleaned up ! be sure to wear old clothes that will not get spoiled.
Parking is available near to the shed in the National Trust car park, access from car park involves a flight steps or 100yd walk. Let us know if you need to be closer to the shed, we have limited parking in the Sheep yard that you can use.
Tea and Coffee at the shed is FREE ! Blakes kitchen is just around the corner if you would like cakes or lunch.
Please note that the area outside the historic shed is cobbled and may not be easy for those with mobility issues.
