Event description
WET FELT WORKSHOP - MAKE A FELTED WOOL SUCCULENT POT

About this Event

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION: Try something completely different and join us for a fun and relaxing afternoon of creativity and connection. Learning the ancient technique of wet felting, you will create your own unique textile piece and take home a beautiful felted wool pot - perfect for displaying succulents.

Felt making is an ancient craft, thought to date back to prehistoric times - water and soap are added to wool fibres and then agitated so that they matt together and shrink. The result is a wonderfully versatile and beautifully textured creation.

During the afternoon you will be guided by Tanya Robinson, an inspiring textile artist and natural dyer. The workshop will be held at the In Tune Wellbeing studio in Leafield - a beautifully calm and relaxing space - the ideal place to slow down, take a pause and lose yourself in the process of creating something beautiful.
