An inspirational and informative online session for creative practitioners in North East Lincolnshire

Making a living doing what you love is possible – but it often comes with challenges, admin headaches, burnout and moments of doubt. This interactive online workshop with freelance consultant and cultural strategist Amy Dalton-Hardy will cut through the jargon and share the practical tools, tips, and lived experiences that make the difference. From pricing and paying yourself fairly, to contracts, funding, marketing, and looking after yourself when things don’t go to plan – this is your survival kit. Expect a fun, engaging session with clear takeaways you can put into practice straight away.

This session is available for creative practitioners who are based in or who carry out activity in North East Lincolnshire. Upon signing up you receive an email prior to the event, with a Zoom link.

Access considerations include AI companion, closed caption, visuals on screen, provision of slide deck, toolkit and top tips following the presentation and transcription.

The session will include a break for lunch.

Amy Dalton-Hardy is a freelance arts consultant, cultural strategist, facilitator, mentor and Co-Director of Propel Dance CIC – the UK’s first professional wheelchair dance company. With 18+ years’ experience across the UK arts & cultural sector, she has raised nearly £4m in funding since 2020 and supports organisations, freelancers, and creative projects to thrive. Alongside roles such as Chair of Gloucester Guildhall and Member of the WMCA Cultural Leadership Board; Amy is known for her plain-English, personable approach, her support and advocacy for freelancers, her capability for making stuff happen and her ability to make the “boring bits” of creative careers clear, practical, and empowering.
