Description

Make a map of Warwickshire - Poetry and Art workshop

Saturday 25th November, 10am - 2pm

Warwick Library

Suitable for adults, teenagers and children age 8yrs+

Warwickshire Libraries are creating a Poetry Map of Warwickshire and we need your help! Come and celebrate the place you call home through poetry and art activities.

As part of the workshop you will have the opportunity to work with poet Nathan Lunt to create new poems inspired by where you live. Artist Ruth Spaak will then help you turn those poems into artwork to decorate the poetry map.

The workshop is free to attend and materials are provided. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

We will stop for lunch, but lunch is not provided. Please bring something with you on the day, or otherwise there are a number of places to buy something to eat close to Warwick Library.

Free to attend. Places are limited, so please book.

Warwickshire Poetry Voices is funded by Arts Council England and managed by Warwickshire Libraries. For more information on the project, please visithttp://warwickshire.gov.uk/warwickshirepoetryvoices
