Make a Silver Chain Bracelet
Event Information
Description
With Margaret Naylor
This workshop guides you through several steps to make your own silver chain bracelet. You'll begin by learning how to cut silver wire to the required length then soldering it and shaping it to form the individual links of your chain. Next you'll learn how to join the links to form the chain, add a clasp to finish the chain and then prepare it for polishing.
The final step is to add a bead charm to the bracelet (there'll be a selection available for you to choose from or, if you have a small charm or favourite bead of your own you'd like to use, please bring that along). You'll be able to leave the workshop wearing your beautiful handcrafted bracelet.
The workshop has been designed to be suitable for beginners as well as those who have previous experience of jewellery making. Health and safety briefing notes will be supplied to all participants ahead of the workshop..
