In this one day workshop you will learn to create your very own sterling silver spinner ring.
Working with sterling silver, we will use traditional jewellery making techniques to create a made to measure spinner ring for you to wear and take home. We will learn to size your ring, cut the silver, add texture the surface, solder and then finish the individual rings before assembling, shaping and polish your ring so that you can wear it home.
The course cost includes materials for a silver band and two silver spinner bands.
The workshop will take place at The Studio at Millbank, Millbank House, Cumnock.
A maximum of 8 attendees will take part in the workshop.
Suitable for those aged 16 to 94+, no previous jewellery experience is necessary.
All materials to make your ring are supplied and all tools needed for the class will be provided for use in the workshop.
Loose clothing should be avoided, closed toe shoes should be worn, if you have long hair it should be worn tied back and please remember to bring glasses if needed as we will be working with small objects.
