About this event

In this workshop you will create your own wearable textile art.

First you will choose a Tweed fabric base for your brooch. Then using a combination of needle felt and embroidery, you will create your own mini textile art piece. There will be templates and inspiration available or you can freestyle your own design. Finally, using the press to create the brooch, you can leave the workshop wearing your artwork with pride.

These textile brooches make excellent gifts. There will be gift boxes available at the end of the session to take away with your finished item.

All materials and equipment will be provided during the session.

This workshop is beginner friendly. You can make your design simple or complex to suit your skill level. Jade will guide you through the process, demonstrating techniques and assisting you to create your own unique artwork.

The needle felt process involves sharp barbed needles so please bear this in mind when booking.
