Description

On this two day course you will learn how to make your own Irish Potato Basket. The tutor will guide you through the process of weaving the base and sides of a basket using different coloured willow. You will then finish your basket with a border. Traditionally this basket was used as potato strainer and then put straight onto the table to serve from. Come and enjoy making a decorative and practical object to take home with you.

All basketry materials will be provided. Please bring a notebook and pen.
