Title - Make Every Contact Help – Improving Patient Service

Each interaction you have with a patient is an opportunity to promote a healthy lifestyle, provide essential wellbeing advice, and signpost towards relevant resources or services.

Make every contact count (MECC) training will equip you with the skills to use everyday conversations with patients to influence their health and wellbeing. By engaging in brief helpful health discussions, you can encourage small steps towards better health and wellbeing.

During the session we will look how a MECC approach can help you form a question that creates an opening for a conversation and how active listening and discovery questions can help you to support patients in your practice.
