HI~Arts is very pleased to present an inspirational workshop for writers with Orna Ross.
In this workshop presentation, Orna Ross doesn't just talk about creativity, she enables you to experience the seven stages of the creative process firsthand. And to explore techniques that will ignite your own creative intelligence, in your writing - and beyond.
Using her most recent novel, BLUE MERCY, as an example, and sharing the practices that have made her a bestselling and critically acclaimed novelist, this friendly, supportive and imaginative workshop will energise and inspire.
Orna Ross is an Irish author, living in London with one foot in the US of A. She writes novels, poems and nonfiction and blogs about creative writing and creative living. Orna has enjoyed publication by Attic Press and Penguin and now publishes her own work. She is founding author & Director at 'The Alliance of Independent Authors'.
In 2011, after twenty years in journalism, university teaching and publishing, she struck out on her own as an independent author, taking her rights back from her publishers to create new editions of her books and distribute them herself.
This has been, "the most thrilling creative experience of my life," she says and led her to found The Alliance of Independent Authors, a nonprofit association for self-publishing writers.
Orna's recent novels include, AFTER THE RISING described by The Sunday Independent as 'magnificient...a hauntingly captivating read'.
