Services supporting our health and wellbeing are forever changing…

  • Are you seeing a need for activities that currently aren’t available?
  • Are you interested in meeting and finding out more about how social enterprises are providing solutions in this area?
  • Are you interested in getting something started yourself?

Come along to this event to find out more.

This event will be split into two parts with a networking session joining the two parts for everyone to come together, make connections and continue to be inspired. Please book onto the half of the event that suits you.

Part 1: 2pm – 4.30pm

Who’s it for?

Do you have an idea? Have you started a project, initiative or business which is delivering services in your community? Then join us for interactive session with other like-minded people and inspirational businesses to meet, explore and discover what’s happening in key areas of the health and wellbeing sector. This session will be focusing on four key themes:

  • Housing/ supporting communities
  • Health, nutrition and food
  • Care and social care
  • Supporting people with multiple and complex needs

We have invited established projects and businesses along with supporters and funders of these enterprises who will be there to talk through their side of their journey, answer questions and share the challenges and success. Attendees will be able to join more than one of these themes within this session.

Networking (with tea with cake of course!): 4.30 – 5.30pm

Peter Holbrook, CEO of Social Enterprise UK will be joining us to share inspirational examples of how social enterprises are providing solutions within the health and wellbeing sector and beyond.

Please note all attendees - whether you’ve book onto Part 1 or Part 2 - are invited to attend this networking session.

Buy Social Nourishment for your networking will be provided by the Real Junk Food Project a Liskeard based social enterprise. Real Junk Food is currently a RIO client on the Engine Room programme – a start-up support programme for social enterprise ideas and businesses based in Cornwall.
