About this event
As part of a week-long public launch of our business hub, MINT Business Club is hosting a Merry-Go-Round of business support on 8 June.
This very special event will take place at the new MINT Business Hub in Consett.
Arrive for breakfast networking from 8.30am, treat yourself to a 15-Minute Business Burst with our team of experts, enjoy lunch and co-working throughout the afternoon and win some amazing prizes on the day too!
The MINT Business Hub was created for this type of event – there’s an informal café-style setting with standing areas for networking chat, quiet areas where you can plug in a laptop, even meeting rooms if you end up in a proper business discussion…
Here’s the plan for the day:
- 8.30 – 10.00 : Networking
With breakfast treats provided
- 10.00 – 12.00 : Business Burst sessions begin!
This 1-to-1 time is invaluable; come prepared with a question for which you need a solution! Ask the team anything about the Six Pillars of MINT…
o Your current business MINDSet (why do you do what you do? What do YOU need for you?)
o Business Foundations (the basics you need in place to run – or start – your business)
o Money (making it, tracking it, understanding it)
o Marketing (digital and traditional, websites and online platforms like Mailchimp, Analytics, Social Media)
o Sales (how marketing leads to sales and understanding what you sell)
o Business Growth (in your own way, at your own pace)
Each member of the MINT panel will only have six slots available, so please let us know your current pressing questions, ponderings or challenges and we'll allocate you to a member of the team who is best placed to help!
- 12.00 - 13.30 : Networking
A light lunch will be served at 12.30
- 13.30 – 16.00 : Open afternoon
Everyone is welcome to stay and co-work, continue networking, take a look around etc.
As it's a celebration, there'll be cake and prizes to win in our raffle to support our social enterprise, Celebrate Difference, helping vulnerable people stay in meaningful self-employment or gain work.
Tickets for the day are £10 for non-members, and free for our MINT members.
