Finn Ravelle, a graduate of Fashion Design at Birmingham City University will deliver this short course. Finn will be teaching participants how to design a top in response to a visual brief, and how to use practical sewing skills to bring the design to life. The workshops will also provide useful information about pursuing a career in fashion. Throughout the course, participants will gain confidence in fashion design and sewing, and at the end they will take away a unique top that they have created themselves. If students would like to continue on the course after the 6wks, they will move onto skirts, dresses etc designing and making their wardrobe.
