An idea that was conceived eleven years ago from one woman's experience of being a teenage mum and experiencing harrowing situations from her family and community. To a charity that now serves the grassroots communities, providing young people and their families who are marginalised with opportunities to enjoy affordable music lessons, engage in exciting activities during our holiday programs, learn to fence as part of our afterschool club provision and develop their voice and understand their purpose through our youth leadership program.
Our Aim -
Raise money for the MRF Music School (upon the launch of our music school in November 2021). We have provided affordable music education to fifty young people between the ages of six and fifteen. The impact was transformational for children and families that dream of playing the keyboard, the guitar, and vocal lessons. . .
Please help us help them achieve their dreams by having a good time.
'My brother and I attend classes at Music Relief, and we both really enjoy them. I am 9 and am learning keyboard and my brother is 11 and is learning keyboard and guitar. The lessons are fun and our teachers are really nice :-)'
With the tremendous support of our patron vocal coach celebrity to the stars CeCe Sammy-Lightfoot, ongoing business mentoring with PWC, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and TEDx Speaker as our CEO and diverse achievements and accolades over the last years. We look forward to seeing you on Friday 20th May.
