Rising Arts Agency are taking over Bristol Beacon on Thursday the 10th of February and we want you to be a part of it. Come experience and celebrate young local talent and share in the joy of live performance in a warm and welcoming space. There will be dance, poetry, live music and visual artists exhibiting their work throughout the space. You will also have several opportunities to interact with the space and leave your creative mark in the venue.

7:30pm - Doors open: time to grab a drink at the bar and look through our exhibition of artworks by artists from the Rising community. First drink is free for the first 50 people to arrive!

8:00-9.30pm - Performances from the Rising community: we kick off with musicians Sambee and Jante from Seph Group, followed by poet Leeza Awojobi and singer Amber-Ruth Watson, and finish with dancer Charles Hlangabeza.

10:00pm - DJ Adeevah goes on until late.

This event forms part of #MakeSpaceForMusic, a campaign introducing Bristol Beacon’s re-brand which was developed in collaboration with Rising Arts Agency.
