How equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) is key to the recovery and growth of manufacturing.
About this event
2020 was a year when UK manufacturing won back the hearts and minds of a nation as a network of problem-solvers got to work producing vaccines and PPE, keeping food on our tables, and producing 13,000 ventilators in just 12 weeks.
Now, as we emerge from the pandemic, the task of reframing UK manufacturing as an attractive sector with progressive employers and showcasing their pivotal role to today’s economic success, has never been more urgent.
This online event will provide unique insight into how equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) is key to the recovery and growth of the sector. By outlining Make UK's latest report ‘Manufacturing our recovery through inclusion’, the practical steps that businesses can take from our HR & Legal experts and by hearing from Make UK member companies that are already on this journey.
You'll hear from Make UK experts and members to understand; how an EDI strategy will improve productivity, profitability and innovation, Identify your business case for an EDI strategy, benchmark your business’s approach to EDI amongst other manufacturers, influence other leaders in your business to drive your EDI strategy and to take the next step in your business’s progress with EDI
