About this event

In this workshop you will be using a kit to create your lamp, and learn skills that you can continue developing at home.

You will be using Millie’s fabric within this workshop, designed and printed in England.

If you love bold and bright, Modernist inspired fabric then you might be in luck!

Please see images of the fabrics below to choose from. You can include your fabric choice at checkout.

You will create a 20cm drum lampshade, ideal for a table lamp.

Participants will be shown demonstrations as well as have guided one-to-one help and advice on how to achieve the best results.

The workshop will involve:

· Cutting your fabric to size

· Constricting your own pendant lampshade

Skill level:

Beginner- no experience necessary.

Please be aware there are some small steps leading up to Chirpy and also upstairs to the workshop space

 

Parking is limited to 1 hour outside of Chirpy before 6pm Monday - Saturday. Parking on Harrogate Road is unlimited further up Harrogate Road (past Baa Ram Ewe)

Chirpy Workshop Refund Policy

If you are unable to attend the workshop and cancel more than 7 days before the workshop date we will refund you the cost of the workshop via the same payment method you have book by.

If you have you cancel within 7 days of the workshop we won’t be able to automatically refund your ticket price as we will have incurred material costs etc. However if we manage to resell your ticket via our waiting list & social media we will offer you a transfer or a refund.

If we aren’t able to resell you ticket will only be able to transfer you to the next workshop which has spaces available after the closing dates for ticket sales.
