Who is this seminar for?

  • Leisure companies, attractions, theme parks, museums, zoos and venues that market to schools
  • Marketers who want tips and ideas to grow their school visitors;
  • Education / school / operation managers that want to improve their school experience.

What does the day look like?

We begin with our practical training seminar will help you create a bespoke teacher user journey for your attraction, giving you guidance, advice and ideas to make a school's visit extra special.

We will look at the elements of a school's visit - from pre-booking through to post-visit - to see where your leisure venue could add value to a school trip to create real competitive advantage or tip the balance in making a decision-to-visit an easy one, and to keep coming back year after year.

We get inside a teacher’s head to understand their wants and needs for a memorable and fun learning experience for their pupils. Qualified and experienced teachers will be on-hand to 'mark' your work, ensuring that your output is real, workable and actionable.

In the second part of the day, we’ll experience an exclusive, interactive and award-winning education workshop from the Wicked team where you will experience first-hand how the show brings their themes to life for school children.

We’ll then hear from the UK Executive Producer of Wicked as to why education is a key focus for the production: providing education workshops and running its annual Young Writer awards.

After dinner, we head to the Apollo Victoria Theatre to watch one of the longest-running shows in West End theatre, Wicked. Be prepared to defy gravity as you experience the untold story of the Witches of Oz.
