This shave horse making course will be running from our new indoor Crafting Studio next to the beautiful Kennett & Avon Canal at Brimslade just outside Marlborough.

On this one day course you will be guided through the whole process to make your own shave horse to take home with you.

The shave horse that you make is based on the old traditional English style shave horse. You will assemble your own shave horse from pre-cut pieces of treated planed easy edge timber. The assembly process will involve some sawing and drilling of the timber before you assemble it using screws.

No previous woodwork experience necessary.

This course will run from 9.30am to 4.30pm at our Marlborough site.

What's included in the price?

Use of all tools and materials are provided.

The kettle will be on throughout the session for you to enjoy a cuppa and biscuits (all individually wrapped).

The course is limited to 4 attendees to comply with COVID19 guidance.
