Herbal Garden Event – Learning About Herbs and Making Herbal Teas
Thursday 25th September 2025 | 2:00–4:00pm | Violet Melchett Community Corner Garden
Join us on 25th September from 2:00–4:00pm for a special Herbal Garden Workshop held in our Community Garden, to learn about different herbs and create your very own personalized tea blend.
We have space for 15 participants and we kindly ask you to register beforehand.

Have you ever been curious about the power of herbs and their many uses? Join us in the garden at Violet Melchett for a practical and welcoming Herbal Garden Event, led by the RBKC Ecology Service Community Gardeners, who come in every Tuesday and know our garden inside out.
Laurie will guide you through:
- Learning about different herbs and their beneficial properties
- Harvesting fresh herbs straight from the garden
- Making and tasting your own herbal teas
- Discovering how herbs can support wellbeing in everyday life
This session is perfect for beginners or anyone interested in exploring the natural world, meeting new people, and experiencing the therapeutic benefits of gardening.
