Welcome to the event: Make yourself (or someone else) a tartan tie!

Come join us at Làmhan on 15th October 2025 at 11:00 AM to create your very own unique tartan tie.

We will use locally-produced tartan (to be purchased separately - we will be in touch with you via email about this) and deadstock lining fabric to make an eye catching, bespoke tie. This could be for yourself or could make a fantastic Christmas present.

You will get a pattern, use of our sewing machines and all haberdashery etc. is included too. Tea and Tunnocks are also available. We will pause for a brief lunch break and recommend bringing your lunch with you (we have a microwave which you can use too In case you want something warm).

You need some basic sewing skills for this class and it is helpful if you have used a sewing machine a few times too.

This is an adult-only class (with the only exception being babies being breastfed by their mums)
