Description

MAKEMORE is a new kind of festival - a festival for your hands. Come and spend the day having a go at all different kinds of making under the expert guidance of the most exciting makers working today!

The festival takes place over five days this August bank holiday. On Thursday and Friday it runs from 3pm - 10pm and Saturday till Monday from 11am - 10pm.

Included in your general admission ticket is a whole day of hands on creative experiences with making sessions, interactive demos and open workshops. There's no need to fork out for 'add-ons' once you're in. Some of the makers and chefs will be putting on a couple of paid workshops for dedicated fans of their work and these will sell out before the event (check our other events listed below for details of these).

We couldn't exactly host a festival without top music, comedy and performance so expect the finest talent programmed by our partners Nest Collective, Continental Drifts and The Comedy Cafe.

As a family friendly festival, kids 10 and under go free and a family ticket is also offered. We've brought in Little Angel Theatre and Polka Theatre to run free kids maker workshops and performances to run throughout the day every day.

We can't wait for you to come and experience the Festival for Makers and Doers!
