Overview

Varied programme of creative workshops run by local artists and creatives at The Great Escape on Grimsby Docks

All materials and equipment will be provided and all events are free to attend. Lunch will be provided as part of the day and public transport costs can be reimbursed on the production of a receipt on the day. The events will be in the Black Gull Cafe at The Great Escape (Grimsby Docks) so fully accessible with accessible toilet. Let us know of any dietary requirements. Funded by Arts Council England and match funding from Create North East Lincolnshire.

Saturday 10th January - Annabel McCourt Amplify the landscape - listen to and respond to the immediate landscape with fresh ears. Work as a team to record found sounds, create noise art poems, explore hidden depths and new meanings… reinterpret everything around us - the stranger the better!

Saturday 17th January - Annabel McCourt Amplify the Landscape - Interactive Sound Discover beauty in the dereliction and then listen to your audio played through the architecture of the docks.
