Description

How can social technologies and online tools such as blogging or slide-sharing be used to help you raise your professional profile, establish links with new collaborators outside of academia and ultimately increase the impact of your research? What resources and support are available at the University of Liverpool to help you get to where you want to be?

In this session we’ll explore approaches to creating great profiles, carefully selecting channels, understanding your audience and objectives, and using the tools in a manner that won’t take over your every waking hour. You will come away with a structure for developing your own individual or team plan and approach.
