Business Gateway is hosting a suite of workshops to help academics explore the key concepts and skills required for working with non-academic partners. This is the third workshop of the series.
Providing Consultancy from Start to Finish

- Plan your pitch
- Manage expectations of your consultancy
The Making an Impact series will enable participants to:
- recognise opportunities for engagement with external collaborators
- jointly negotiate and develop a mutually beneficial project
- manage expectations in business relationships
The workshops will provide tips and tools on how to develop relationships and work effectively with prospective partners to maximise impact from your research.
Who should attend?
Academics from all faculties (University of Liverpool colleagues only)

The workshops are facilitated by Andrew Cochran, Blueberry Training. Andrew’s commercial career covers 29 years where he has worked in various management functions within the Construction, Manufacturing and Higher Education sectors. He holds an MBA and MA in Education and has previously held Business Development roles both at Birmingham City University, University of Worcester and Aston University
