This course will help you ensure that your partnership delivers real and measurable benefits for your local authority and your business partner.
The Primary Authority scheme now boasts over 1500 partnerships, involving more than 1450 businesses across different regulatory areas and this RD run course provides the opportunity for you to gain from the wealth of knowledge and expertise that has been generated by a wide range of local authorities in partnership with businesses of all sizes, operating in sectors from retail and hospitality to manufacturing.
This one day course consists of a mixture of presentations and workshop exercises that provides delegates with the knowledge and skills they need to deliver a successful partnership.
The course topics include:
- Partnership management and resources: lessons learnt and ensuring a sustainable service
- Making an impact: primary authorities, advice and enforcing authorities
- Inspection plans: preparatory work, design and effective implementation
- Demonstrating success: achieving recognition for your partnership
This course is currently provided free of charge to local authority delegates. However, delegates who are booked but fail to attend will incur a £99 charge.
