Making Assessment Feedback Manageable
Thu 21 January 2016, 12:00 – 14:00 GMT
Introducing the Researching Assessment Practices Group (RAP)
If you are passionate about enhancing assessment and feedback practices this session is for you. Using research and practice-based evidence we will be discussing effective and efficient ways of managing assessment feedback that can enable you to utilise your time most effectively and support your students’ learning. We will consider how principles aimed at streamlining assessment practices can be applied at the discipline level. We will also explore how to apply overarching principles of effective assessment designs to practice. If you are currently involved in developing your assessment feedback practice and would like advice on your current and proposed curriculum designs, please do bring questions to the session so that we can tailor the session accordingly. If there are key areas of assessment practice that you would like us to run a specific session on please contact Professor Carol Evans at firstname.lastname@example.org in the Centre for Higher Education Research at Southampton (CHES).
A light lunch is provided.
