Description

This Introductory course is aimed at anyone who has a child with ASD, professionals e.g. teachers and others who support and/or work with autistic individuals

  • What is Autism Spectrum Disorder?

  • The neurodiversity that is autism

  • Unpacking common misunderstandings about autism

  • Thinking about how best to support autistic children, young people and adults


By the end of the session participants should have:

  • a basic understanding of ASD

  • an appreciation of how our autistic individuals engage in the world

  • thoughts on how to best support autistic individuals
