Making Every Contact Count Training
Event Information
Description
Making Every Contact Count - Session 1
Making Every Contact Count (MECC) is about supporting people to make the most of every opportunity they have with the millions of people they come into contact with every day to talk about making a positive change for their health.
Southampton Healthy Living is embedding Making Every Contact Count, implementing the Wessex approach to ensure people are able to make a difference to the health and wellbeing of the population by encouraging and supporting people to change behaviours that may be damaging to their health. These sessions from Southampton Voluntary Services are aimed at those working with local communities in Southampton and want to support behaviour change.
During the programme you will develop the understanding and confidence to be able to make the most of the time you have to empower people to improve their lifestyles.
Taking place over two sessions, each lasting 3 hours, both HCS sessions need to be attended to complete the RSPH accredited training course with some E-Learning inbetween.
Please check our events to book on to your session 2.
